Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions govern business transacted with Modern Sales Academy Group Limited of Centre for Media Excellence13 Wardieburn Terrace, Edinburgh, EH51DD, hereinafter referred to as “Modern Sales Academy”.

Confirmation of Reservation

To confirm your reservation and enroll for a course, you must either complete the registration form and provide a formal Purchase Order, or agree to pay for the course as set out below.

Late Bookings

Bookings made within 10 working days of course commencement must be paid for, or agreed to be paid for immediately at time of enrolment. Provisional bookings can not be accepted at this time.

Payment

You may pay or agree to pay for the course by cheque (payable to Modern Sales Academy) purchase order (in which case payment must be paid for within 30 days of Modern Sales Academy’s invoice), credit card (we accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch or Amex) or by bank transfer.
For all forms of payment, please include your name, course, course date and location. Modern Sales Academy reserves the right to require payment in cleared funds in advance where Modern Sales Academy has not established satisfactory credit arrangements with you.
The registration form must accompany any purchase order or cheque sent to Modern Sales Academy so we can identify which delegate wishes to enroll in each course.
Modern Sales Academy reserves the right to change prices without notice, but this will not affect any course you have already paid or agreed to pay for in writing.
Euro pricing is available upon request.

International Enrolments

International delegates taking courses in the UK must pay in advance by cheque. money order or bank transfer. Monies must clear prior to course commencement only then will your booking be confirmed in writing.

Confirmation of Enrolment by Modern Sales Academy

Once we have received your payment or agreement to pay, we will confirm your reservation. We will post, fax or email you a confirmation package, which includes a registration confirmation number, directions to Modern Sales Academy’s facilities, and if requested hotel booking information. If you have not received this package at least one week before the beginning of class, please call us. We recommend that delegates do not make travel and hotel accommodation arrangements without this confirmation package.

Cancellation

You may cancel a course for which you have enrolled and be fully refunded all course fees provided you give Modern Sales Academy at least 20 working days notice prior to the course commencement. Once with this time period a sliding scale of charges will apply as follows:
Notice of Cancellation Given – Amount Payable.

20 – 11 working days prior to course commencement – 50% of course fee.
10 – 0 working days prior to course commencement – 100% of course fee.

All cancellations must be received in writing and acknowledged by Modern Sales Academy in writing.

 

Modern Sales Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course if required delegate numbers are not met, we will endeavour to give a minimum 10 working days notice. In such circumstances a full refund or alternative dates will be available. Modern Sales Academy is not responsible for any travel or other costs incurred as a result of cancellation.

 

In a situation where a course is run exclusively for a customer – at one of Modern Sales Academy’s training centres, on a customer site or any other alternative venue – course cancellation must be received in writing at least 10 working days in advance of course commencement.

 

You will remain liable for the full course fee and any expenses incurred by Modern Sales Academy if cancellation is received after this time.

Attendance

If a delegate fails to attend the first or any subsequent day of a course, Modern Sales Academy reserves the right to deny the delegate entry to the classroom for the remainder of the course. If Modern Sales Academy exercises this right, the booking will be deemed cancelled and you will be liable for the full course fee.

 

Delegate substitutions are acceptable provided notice is given prior to course commencement and that the substitute delegate meets all course prerequisites or is approved by Modern Sales Academy management.

Transfer

You may transfer the course booking to alternative dates and incur no additional costs provided the request is made in writing at least 20 working days in advance of course commencement. Once within this time period a sliding scale of charges will apply as follows:

20 – 11 working days prior to course commencement – 50% of course fee.
10 – 0 working days prior to course commencement – 100% of course fee.

Courses transferred within these time periods cannot subsequently be cancelled at any further time in the situation where a course is run exclusively for a customer – at one of Modern Sales Academy training centres, on a customer site or any other alternative venue – a transfer of course date must be received in writing at least 10 working days in advance of course commencement. No transfers are available for such courses within this period.

Ownership of Rights

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Modern Sales Academy. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for use as outlined in the “Permitted Uses” clause below is prohibited without the permission of Modern Sales Academy.

Permitted Uses

You agree that you are only authorised to visit, view and to retain a copy of pages within this website for your own personal use, and that you shall not duplicate, download, publish, modify or otherwise distribute the material on this website for any purpose other than to review the information contained therein, for personal use, or to transact bookings, unless otherwise specifically authorized by Modern Sales Academy to do so.


In the event of violations of these terms, Modern Sales Academy may terminate or bar use of the website, cancel any bookings, and/or take appropriate legal action against offenders.

Disclaimers

Modern Sales Academy does not promise that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, nor that it will provide specific results from use of the website or any content or link on it. The website and its content are delivered on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.


Modern Sales Academy cannot ensure that files you download from the website will be free of viruses or contamination or destructive features. Modern Sales Academy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including also any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Indemnity
